We are VOID Interactive, the team behind the best-selling FPS game, Ready or Not. Our team of 50 is made up of some seriously talented individuals who love video games and creating awesome content together. We’re seeking a dedicated, professional and enthusiastic Senior Outsource Manager to help us elevate Ready or Not to new heights and establish it as a staple franchise that will be around for generations to come across all viable platforms.  


As the Senior Outsource Manager, you'll be the master of streamlining our studio's operations, turbocharging outsourcing processes, and orchestrating collaborations with external partners to level up the quality and efficiency of our game development journey! Our goal is strong: to establish Ready or Not as the quintessential FPS of our time. 
 

In this role, you'll oversee:

  • Advocating for our studio's interests and needs in external partnerships, ensuring that vendors align with our vision and objectives. 
  • Crafting and executing strategic plans for outsourcing operations, aligning them with our company's overarching goals to boost efficiency and productivity. 
  • Steering the outsourcing project lifecycle, from collaborating with stakeholders in selecting vendors; to final delivery, resource allocation, and risk management. 
  • Manage and drive contract negotiation directly with external vendors to ensure maximum strategic investment on behalf of the studio. 
  • Ensuring that external vendors adhere to agreed-upon timelines and deliverables, closely monitoring progress in conjunction with Production to maintain project schedules. 
  • Collaborate closely with internal development stakeholders to oversee and manage ingestion of deliverables from external vendors. 
  • Identifying opportunities to streamline outsourcing workflows and implementing strategies for operational efficiency enhancement across multiple projects. 
  • Evaluating and mitigating operational risks linked with outsourcing partnerships, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safeguarding our studio's interests. 
  • Fostering communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners to ensure outsourcing activities align with broader business objectives. 

Of course, you won't be alone on this mission - you'll be collaborating with the entire team and outside vendors to ensure we're maximising our efforts and achieving our goals!   

 

Here’s what you'll be bringing to the team

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management or a related field (preferred). 
  • 5+ years of experience in operational management roles, with a specialization in advocating for studio interests in external partnerships within the video game industry. 
  • Proficiency in outsourcing operations, including vendor management, contract negotiation, and quality assurance processes within game development. 
  • Experience working with Jira and Confluence, version control and Unreal development tools as needed. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders. 
  • Experience in evaluating and mitigating risks associated with outsourcing partnerships. 
  • Proficient in project management, process optimisation, and change management within the game development context. 
  • Proven ability to ensure external vendors adhere to agreed-upon timelines and deliverables while maintaining project schedules. 
  • Demonstrated success in crafting and executing strategic plans for outsourcing operations that align with company goals and objectives.
