We are seeking a Senior Organizational Development Specialist who will be responsible for content development and instructor/facilitation led classroom and virtual training for programs companywide.
You have worked in an organizational development team and remain current with industry best practices and trends to identify new approaches to training. You will be aware of changes in the workforce that may impact the organization’s training needs. This includes using and knowing when to be flexible with training methods; e-learning authoring tools, researching updated approaches; customizing different versions of content to pilot new programs.
You are a self starter that possesses high energy with a can-do attitude. You are able to work independently in meeting KPI deadlines. Additionally, you will adhere to a hybrid schedule where you will be required to be on-site at the office 3-4 days a week.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough needs analysis to effectively assess the learning & development needs of the employees/departments throughout the organization.
- 60% of the time you will be responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of company-wide learning programs and materials. (This may include creating training materials for a program, conducting training workshops, developing videos, e-learning courses, training guides and/or providing one-on-one coaching and facilitation).
- Utilize data to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs; including quizzes, role-plays, training content, learning environment and instructor(s).
- Analyze and conclude whether the training was effective in meeting the goals and objectives of the organization.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to maintain learning materials (instructor led, virtual, e-learning, course activities and job aids)
- Ensure that content and materials are up-to-date and relevant to the needs of the organization.
- Maintain a strong cross-functional collaboration between departments and be aligned with change management as the organization grows and changes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in classroom facilitation, content development and e-learning using Articulate preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field (e.g., Business, Organizational Development, English, or Psychology).
- Experience training in a production environment/and virtually with a range of different assessment and training tools, along with the ability to tailor delivery methods to a variety of types of learners and keep an audience engaged to enhance learning retention.
- Knowledge and utilization of Articulate E-Learning authoring tool or similar system.
- Possess knowledge of learning management systems (LMS).
- Excellent organization and time management skills focusing on prioritization.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills on a wide range of topics.
- Highly collaborative and able to build strong relationships.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and evaluate all training programs and outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, with presentation development and facilitation skills and experience writing reference materials.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Suite.
