Senior Operative in the Return Material Authorisation department (RMA)
What you will do:
Receive, inspect, and accurately book returned products into relevant systems.
Process customer-owned goods, ensuring timely receipt, verification, and crediting where applicable.
Remove inventory from consignment accounts and update stock records accurately.
Book devices and equipment into repair workflows, ensuring all required documentation and system transactions are completed.
Process Product Investigations (PIs), including recording, tracking, and communicating findings where required.
Prioritisation of tasks and supporting the smooth flow of returns throughout the operation.
Ensure all production-based activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Distribute and transfer of returned products to originating warehouses or designated locations.
Maintain complete and accurate records of all returns transactions to ensure traceability and compliance.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate records.
Promote a culture of quality and operational excellence, ensuring all work is completed with a target of 100% accuracy.
Identify and report any discrepancies, non-conformances, or process deviations promptly.
Support the onboarding of new team members by sharing process knowledge, standard ways of working, and best practice where required.
Support troubleshooting activities to minimise operational disruption and maintain service levels.
Share best practice and process knowledge to support a positive, engaged, and continuously improving team environment.
Assist with testing and embedding new systems, processes, or operational changes where required.
Promote and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
Support collaboration across departments to ensure seamless processing and resolution of returns-related activities.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Support production-based warehouse activities during periods of increased demand or resource requirements.
What you will need:
Education
GCSE or higher.
Experience
Valid IATA and/or ADR Dangerous Goods qualification (beneficial but not mandatory).
Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (beneficial but not mandatory).
A working knowledge of Warehouse processes and ERP/WMS (Oracle or similar) is essential.
Preferred but not mandatory, 3+ years’ experience in inventory management or similar environment.

United Kingdom Pay Ranges:
- United Kingdom: £23,700 - £39,500 GBP Annual
