Senior Operations Risk Management Associate responsible for supporting the oversight of Operational Risk Management standards, collaborating on risk mitigation solutions, and preparing reports and dashboards using Power BI. Must have 2-3 years of hands-on Power BI experience and strong communication and analytical skills.

Primary Purpose of Job

  • Support the BAU oversight of the ORM Minimum Standards to include quality assurance and process reviews
  • Collaborate with the internal team on the design and implementation of new Operational Risk Management solutions that will mitigate current and future business risk
  • Support the implementation of a new GRC tool
  • Support the implementation of risk-centric change initiatives, including training and support
  • Build collaborative partnerships with business partners, internal team, and leaders through the use of strong, influential communication skills
  • Handle Operational Risk Management ad-hoc requests related to audit and other regulatory requirements
  • Prepare data summary analysis, internal trending reports, and presentations, as needed.

Required qualifications

  • Candidate must have a demonstrated analytical ability to move tasks forward independently and without significant direction or documentation.
  • Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to drive requirements definition or design decisioning, including the ability to reach out to stakeholders directly.
  • Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Must be able to quickly absorb data and information.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in an ambiguous and changing environment
  • Candidate must have excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint.

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior Risk or Risk Analytics experience.
  • Prior experience with technical implementations.
