We are looking for a skilled Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team and help us streamline our business operations to improve the experience for our internal Atlassian users.

In this role you will get to:

  • Work with cross-disciplinary teams, gather business needs, and propose solutions
  • Define and implement HR projects that include transition of services, process improvements, transformation & automation, new program design, etc
  • Develop detailed project roadmaps, document and measure project performance using various tools & techniques
  • Define project scope, success criteria, role & responsibilities and connect with the team throughout the project life cycle
  • Build and maintain relationships with all partners - HR Partners, Service Teams, and other business partners to drive projects & initiatives
  • Independently handle HR projects creating scalable processes, ensuring the alignment with company strategy, commitments, and goals
  • Proactively handle project risks, issues, and dependencies and report the project status to project stakeholders.
  • Proactively handle and communicate ongoing changes in the project scope


On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Be self-driven, and show the ability to deliver on ambiguous projects
  • Delivery-focused approach with the aim of solving problems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining careful attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently with different stakeholder groups, with minimum supervisory intervention
  • Excellent communication skills with the prowess to explain business problems, concepts and issues to a varied audience
  • Process mapping experience (e.g. Signavio)
  • Proven ability to balance competing priorities, workloads, and tight timelines in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Ability to distill, cater, and communicate complex analysis and insights to senior leaders, both verbally and in writing


It's great, but not required for you to have:

  • Agile experience (including using Confluence and Jira)
  • Lean and/or Six Sigma experience and certification is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of HR Shared Services is preferred Agile / PMP Certification
  • Prior experience in developing requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting (Tableau)
