The Senior Operations Analyst conducts business process analysis, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analysis in an effort to align business initiatives. Provides systems, administrative, and operational support in assisting with the development and implementation of new or existing products, processes and accounts. Analyzes existing forms and methods to promote effective operations through standardization, improvement, simplification, discontinuance or other methods. Assists in the implementation of new systems and procedures in various departments and instructs personnel regarding them. Depending on area may review organization functions and structure to avoid overlapping or duplication. Coordinates proposed policies, procedures, systems, forms and reports among departments.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
- Identifies project requirements and estimates by coordinating activities with team sponsors, directing team members, interviewing customers, analyzing operations, and determining project scope, developing project specifications, documenting results.
- Provides information that will assist in preparing or decisioning vendor/client contracts.
- Prepares customers for implementation by planning and/or coordinating training, writing documentation and providing support.
- Engage with key stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.
- Collect and analyze business and industry data, including key performance indicators (KPIs), financial reports, and other metrics.
- Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements using business process modeling.
- Keep detailed records of various projects, processes, and operations.
- Work closely with account executives and cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Act as a liaison between different business departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
- Develops project estimates by identifying phases and elements, personnel requirements and costs.
- Generates and evaluates comprehensive reports to identify and resolve business challenges.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- 3+ years of professional experience in the function or similar activity outside the organization.
- Knowledgeable in all the duties of the Operations Analyst II position, or similar positions.
- A fully competent professional.
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, business analytics, management information systems, or a related field OR 3+ years’ experience in a similar function.
- 3+ years in data analysis and management with excellent statistical knowledge.
- 3+ years of comprehensive experience utilizing Salesforce for various business operations.
- The ability to effectively communicate and influence stakeholders.
- Resourceful and creative in solving business problems.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
- The ability to adapt procedures, processes and techniques to solve more complex problems and issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and business analysis software.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with processing financial claims.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or similar certification.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Pay Range:
$25.87 - $43.20
Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
