We are seeking a highly analytical and operationally focused Operational Data Analyst to help build and mature a modern Service Management and Reliability Operations organization at the center of critical operations supporting our HPC Data Center Operations. This role is responsible for transforming operational telemetry, service management data, observability signals, and reliability metrics into actionable operational intelligence that improves service reliability, reduces operational risk, enables executive decision-making, and drives continual operational improvement.
The successful candidate will function as an operational intelligence partner aligned to Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Enablement, Reliability Engineering, Production Operations, and Service Reliability Governance teams.
Job requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 5+ years of experience in operational analytics, IT Operations, Service Management analytics, Reliability Operations, or related environments.
  • Strong experience with operational reporting, dashboard development, and analytics platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Python.
  • Experience working with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
  • Strong analytical thinking and operational problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with SRE, observability engineering, and telemetry-driven operations concepts.
  • Experience supporting operational automation and orchestration initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Experience with Jira Service Management or similar platforms.

Job responsibilities
  • Analyze operational telemetry, incident data, change data, event data, and service management trends to identify systemic operational risks and reliability improvement opportunities.
  • Develop actionable operational intelligence supporting Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Enablement, Reliability Engineering, and Production Operations teams.
  • Design, develop, and maintain operational dashboards, scorecards, and executive reporting frameworks.
  • Establish and govern operational KPIs, reliability metrics, and service health indicators.
  • Correlate operational events, incident activity, observability signals, and infrastructure telemetry to improve service visibility and operational awareness.
  • Present operational insights and trend analysis to technical leadership and executive stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate operational reporting, telemetry analysis, KPI generation, and alert correlation workflows.
  • Focuses on operational outcomes rather than report generation alone.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions using data and trend analysis.
  • Identify opportunities for predictive operational analytics and automated insight generation.
  • Improve operational data integration between observability and ITSM platforms.
