Senior Officer – Draftsman Electrical | Substation | Gurugram & Kolkata
A) Job description
Should have experience in drafting work for both AIS & GIS substation.
Should have Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures, and Layouts.
Should be capable for preparing General arrangement drawings.
Hands on experience on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagram for HV / EHV Sub-stations, LT system etc.
Preparation of Electrical layouts plan & Section for HV/ EHV Sub-stations.
Preparation of Erection Key Diagram, earthing layout, Lightening Protection Layout
Preparation of foundation plan & Cable trench layout.
Cable schedule and quantity estimation.
Preparation of Panel arrangement layout.
Preparation of Lighting layout, Conduit Layout, SLDs. BOM.
Coordination with civil drawings, Mechanical drawings etc.
Awareness of ANSI Code, IEC – Clearance requirements in AIS & GIS substations
B) Software & skills required:
Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD
BIM 360, Revit
MS-word, Excel
Dialux
Education requirement:
1) Bachelor’s degree in any stream or diploma in electrical.
2) Certification – AutoCAD is mandatory.
3) Certification in BIM & Revit will be added advantage.
4) Should be able to write and read English.
Skills Required
- Experience drafting for AIS and GIS substations
- Clear concept of EHV equipment, structures, and layouts
- Ability to prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings
- Hands-on preparation of Electrical Single Line Diagrams for HV/EHV and LT systems
- Preparation of electrical layouts and sections for HV/EHV substations
- Prepare erection key diagrams, earthing layout, and lightning protection layout
- Preparation of foundation plans and cable trench layouts
- Cable schedule preparation and quantity estimation
- Preparation of panel arrangement layouts, lighting layouts, conduit layouts, SLDs, and BOMs
- Coordinate with civil and mechanical drawings
- Awareness of ANSI and IEC clearance requirements for AIS and GIS substations
- Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD (AutoCAD certification mandatory)
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
- Experience with Dialux for lighting design
- BIM 360 and Revit experience/certification
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical (or any stream bachelor's with relevant experience)
- Ability to read and write English
