In this position you will....
Be managing and handling claims for property and casualty products. You will work and build the claims value proposition for the company. You will also contribute to streamlining the workflow and optimizing the handling process to strive operation excellence.
You will be responsible for…
- Handling Accident & Health claims, mainly focus on Travel and PA claims, independently.
- Handling inquiries and complaints from intermediaries, direct clients and internal teams, ensuring high-quality claims service is delivered.
- Investigating potentially fraudulent claims and assessing all claims to ensure they comply with the terms and conditions of the policy.
- Approving claims that fall within their designated authority.
- Assisting Accident & Health claims’ team lead in supervisory tasks and other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
- Providing guidance and technical expertise to junior staff.
- Providing technical support to the team including workflow simplification and automation initiatives.

You will require the following qualifications and skills
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in handling Travel or Accident & Health claims.
- A degree holder or tertiary graduate, ideally with professional qualifications in insurance or related fields.
- Preferably achieved recognized industry standard certificate (e.g. Snr Asso. of ANZIIF).
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Ability to work under pressure and work in a dynamic environment.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in Cantonese and good command of written and spoken English.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as Claims Officer.
Skills Required
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience handling Travel or Accident & Health claims.
- Degree holder or tertiary graduate.
- Professional qualifications in insurance or related fields (preferred).
- Recognized industry certificate (e.g., Senior Associate of ANZIIF) (preferred).
