We're seeking a talented and innovative Senior NodeJS Developer who thrives on tackling complex challenges and is driven to continuously learn and grow.
As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in designing, deploying, and maintaining high-performance, scalable applications that meet our business objectives. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable NodeJS applications that meet business requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
- Develop and maintain high-quality, reusable code that adheres to industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, using debugging tools and techniques
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our applications and services
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth and development of the team
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications
- Participate in agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in NodeJS development, with a strong understanding of NodeJS ecosystem and its core modules
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related technologies
- Experience with NodeJS frameworks such as Express, Koa, or Hapi
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- Strong understanding of software design patterns, principles, and best practices
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Nice to Have:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Experience with containerization using Docker
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, Travis CI, or CircleCI
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Chai
- Experience with security best practices and secure coding techniques
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
