Job Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify areas for improvement in existing security measures and recommend solutions to strengthen the overall security posture
• Lead efforts to proactively identify security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, balancing business objectives with security needs
• Define & update security policies, standards and guidelines to support business operations
• Oversee day-to-day network security operations, monitoring vulnerabilities, threats & attacks and ensuring compliance with standards
• Guide & train security teams, as well as cross functional teams on security best practices to ensure consistent knowledge across the organization
• Collaborate in evaluation, deployment & integration of new products
• Effectively communicate engineering solutions through detailed high & low level design documentation, ensuring clarity and understanding across both technical & non-technical stakeholder

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science
• Master's degree in cybersecurity preferred
• 5+ years of professional experience or equivalent, with 3+ years of hands on expertise in design, implementation & support of the following areas:
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), X509 Digital Certificates, Cloud based CA and SubCA principles, Symmetric and Asymmetric Keys, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Netguard Certificate Manager (NCM)
• TLS/SSL and IPSec VPN
• Network firewall, IDS/IPS, NAC
• Palo Alto physical and virtualized firewalls (VNF/CNF), Panorama
• AWS VPC, Security Groups, Cloud Formation

Skills and Qualifications:

• Working knowledge & understanding of
• DNS, DHCP and IPAM configuration and management
• MDR, XDR, XDR
• Vulnerability & Risk Management
• NIST & CIS Controls
• Cloud security
• Must have PCNSE certification. Other professional networking certifications a plus - CompTIA Network +, Security + and CISSP

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
