Job Description

Superloop is excited to offer this amazing opportunity for a seasoned Senior Network & SASE Engineer with both a passion for, and demonstrated history in, designing and Implementing customer-focused network solutions with a customer-centric approach. This role is perfect for someone with Intrinsic understanding and a wealth of experience in networking, along with deep-seated expertise In Palo Alto and Fortinet SDWAN technologies.

As our Senior Network & SASE Engineer, you will be the bridge for our customers, navigating them through the labyrinth of complex challenges. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of robust, secure, and scalable network Infrastructures. Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) is a key component in this role, and your experience with this cloud-native architecture will be put to good use.

Key Responsibilities

● Responsible for leading the design and Implementation of advanced network solutions, including a broad spectrum of technologies such as LAN, WAN, Cloud Networking (Azure/AWS), data center design, SASE, Wi-Fi, and switching technologies - you will be the expert in all things network

● Specialize In both Palo Alto (Including Prisma Access deployment & management) and Fortinet SDWAN solutions, utilizing this technology to boost network performance, reliability, redundancy, and security for our customers

● Make use of your proven SASE skills to assess, unify, and optimize our customers networks

● Manage projects from concept through to delivery, aligning technical solutions with both the customers business objectives and Superloop’s strategic direction

● Provide expert advice on the selection and deployment of networking hardware and software, with a particular focus on Fortinet and Cisco products

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth integration of network solutions with existing IT Infrastructure, including security and voice systems

● Stay ahead of the curve by exploring and learning about the latest technological advancements, such as Palo Alto SDWAN, SASE (Secure Access Service Edge), and ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access). Leverage these innovations to enhance Superloop’s service offerings

● Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of network designs through comprehensive testing and validation

● Create detailed documentation for all network architectures and configurations that we implement

● Foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning by mentoring junior team members and providing technical leadership. Your expertise will not only shape the future of our network solutions but also inspire the team at Superloop.

Key Deliverables

● Network Design and Implementation - successful designs tailored to meet customer expectations and the needs of the organisation for Fortinet, Palo Alto, Azure Networking, SASE, or other technologies as the customer requires, and implementation of these designs with the project team

● Pre-Sales - assist with the technical Pre-Sales of potential and existing customers regarding their network requirements

● Project Management - successful technical project management of network-related projects and initiatives from concept to delivery

● Customer Engagement - direct engagement with customers to understand their networking needs and translate these into effective network architectures

● Equipment and Software Deployment - Expert guidance on the selection and deployment of networking equipment and software – this will also involve working with engineers in customer support escalations when required

● Innovation - exploration and learning about the latest advancements in network technologies and applying these Innovations to enhance Superloop's offerings

● Documentation - production of detailed documentation for all network architectures and configurations implemented

● Mentorship - providing technical leadership to junior team members and promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing learning

Qualifications

● At least 10 years proven experience in network architecture design and Implementation, with a significant portion of this time spent in roles that involve direct interaction with customers

● Deep knowledge of networking technologies and protocols, including expert-level understanding of Fortinet and Palo Alto SD-WAN solutions, as well as the deployment and management of FortiCloud and Palo Alto Prisma Access and Azure Networking Services

● Demonstrable experience in designing and managing data centre environments and a broad understanding of networking hardware and software from leading vendors, especially Fortinet, Palo Alto and Cisco

● A deep understanding of network security principles and technologies, with the opportunity to expand knowledge into Palo Alto SD-WAN, SASE, and ZTNA

● Demonstrated ability in project consulting, including scoping projects in terms of hours, resources, and deployment strategies

● Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to devise innovative solutions to complex technical issues.

● Strong project co-ordination skills, support projects to completion within stringent timeline

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

● Relevant industry certifications, particularly from Fortinet, Cisco, Palo, Alto, Microsoft, or other recognized bodies, are highly regarded

● A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
