Acronis is seeking a skilled Senior Network Engineer to support and develop our global data center network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring high availability, performance, and security across business-critical cloud environments, primarily based on Juniper and Arista networking platforms.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to work in an AI-augmented, automation-first engineering culture.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Monitor and troubleshoot network issues across Acronis data centers
Triage events, escalate incidents, and ensure timely resolution
Support other engineering teams with network-related issues
Analyze and maintain configurations on Juniper and Arista network devices
Plan and execute production network maintenance following Change Management processes
Improve network performance through proactive optimization
Develop automation using Python, Ansible, or SaltStack
Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams, and operational knowledge
Manage infrastructure inventory and equipment tracking using DCIM tools
Use AI tools (VS Code + Copilot, Windsurf ) daily for faster troubleshooting, config validation, and documentation
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
5+ years of experience in Network Operations or Data Center environments
Hands-on expertise with Juniper (EX/QFX, SRX, MX/PTX) or Arista platforms
Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols:
** BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, EVPN,VXLANAbility to design and manage complex ACLs and firewall policies
Linux networking and security skills are a plus
Experience with scripting, automation frameworks, and version control (Git)
Strong English communication skills; multilingual is a plus
Certifications are highly desirable:
** Juniper JNCA, JNCP,CCNA,CCNP or similar
** Arista ACE Level 3+
