What will you do? 

  • Lead the design, implementation, and integration of enterprise network solutions, ensuring scalability, resiliency, security, and operational excellence.
  • Own and drive delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with the network architecture roadmap.
  • Serve as a senior technical authority for Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, Wireless, Firewalls, Load Balancers (e.g., F5), Z-Scaler, IPAM and Cloud networking technologies.
  • Evaluate, test, and certify new software images and network technologies to ensure secure, stable deployment across the enterprise.
  • Establish, maintain, and audit network configuration standards to ensure consistency, compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to NOC and Solution Engineering teams; deliver formal and ad hoc training to elevate team capability.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex network incidents, providing root cause analysis and long-term remediation strategies.
  • Lead optimization and strategic utilization of network monitoring and observability platforms including SolarWinds, Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, Scrutinizer, and Splunk.
  • Define monitoring standards and recommend enhancements based on site-specific requirements, risk profiles, and business criticality.
  • Maintain logical and physical site diagrams, infrastructure risk registries while overseeing site-related projects, requests, and incidents
  • Review and approve global network changes to ensure alignment with architecture standards and enterprise policies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to champion network initiatives and align infrastructure strategy with broader organizational goals.
  • Serve as liaison with vendors and technology partners to drive performance, innovation, and issue resolution.
  • Support annual operating planning (AOP), budget planning, hardware lifecycle management, disaster recovery exercises, security assessments, and audit activities.
  • Lead meetings, workshops, and cross-site coordination efforts to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in network engineering within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Advanced expertise in: Routing & Switching, SD-WAN, Wireless networking, Firewalls, Load Balancers (F5 or similar), Zero Trust Networks, Cloud networking architectures
  • Deep hands-on experience with monitoring and management tools including BlueCat, Zabbix, SolarWinds, Catalyst Center, ThousandEyes, Scrutinizer, and Splunk.
  • Strong understanding of network architecture design principles, high availability, redundancy models, and performance optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor engineers in a collaborative team environment.
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving complex, enterprise-scale network issues.
  • Experience managing site-specific documentation, infrastructure risk tracking, and multi-site coordination.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP or higher) preferred.
