We’re looking for a Network Engineer to join our APAC team as the in-house expert for all things networking. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll design, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot FNZ’s corporate and data centre networks. You’ll work on complex, globally diverse hybrid environments, ensuring performance, resilience, and security across on-premises and cloud platforms.

What You’ll Do
- Design and manage large-scale, hybrid network infrastructures.
- Configure and maintain Cisco switches (IOS/NXOS), firewalls (CheckPoint & FortiGate), and advanced routing protocols (OSPF, BGP).
- Optimize and troubleshoot load-balancing for large web platforms using F5 Big-IP LTM/GTM.
- Collaborate with Information Security to maintain robust network security.
- Liaise with ISPs and vendors to ensure seamless connectivity.
- Mentor junior team members and take a lead technical role within the team.
What We’re Looking For
- Qualifications: Degree-level education and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Certifications: Cisco CCNP (or equivalent).
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco networking, firewall operations, and routing protocols.
- Experience with CheckPoint R81, FortiGate, and F5 LTM/GTM.
- Strong understanding of complex BGP topologies and network design techniques.
- Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS/GCP) and VMware NSX-T is highly desirable.
- Soft Skills: Independent, proactive, excellent communicator, and a creative problem solver.
