Job Description

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and ensure optimal network operation.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, firewalls, and access controls.
• Maintain and support network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Conduct network capacity planning, upgrades, and performance optimizations.
• Develop and maintain network documentation, configurations, and disaster recovery plans.
• Work closely with security teams to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Automate network configurations and management using scripting and network management tools.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network administrators.
• Stay up to date with emerging network technologies and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network administration or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with Arista, Cisco, HPE, or other enterprise networking hardware.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions.
• Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Python scripting, or PowerShell.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

• Industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent.
• Experience with SD-WAN, VoIP, and wireless networking.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust security models and network segmentation strategies.
• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix).
