  • Ownership of challenging technical projects spanning network architecture, security, cloud connectivity, resiliency, and operational excellence.
  • An environment that values innovation, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices, where new ideas are encouraged and technical leadership is recognised.
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional development, certification, mentoring, and exposure to emerging networking and security technologies.

What you bring

  • Strong expertise across enterprise routing, switching, wireless networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, network security, and high-availability network design.
  • Proven experience administering Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments, with a strong understanding of cloud-managed networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet (FortiGate) firewalls, SD-WAN, secure remote access, and modern SASE connectivity solutions.
  • Experience designing and supporting Azure networking, including hybrid connectivity, virtual networking, routing, and secure cloud integration.
  • Experience using Infrastructure as Code and automation technologies such as Terraform, Python, PowerShell, REST APIs, or similar tools to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
  • A strong understanding of Zero Trust networking principles, network segmentation, and secure enterprise connectivity.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking issues across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across Infrastructure, Security, Cloud Engineering, Workplace Technology, and external partners.
  • A passion for continuous improvement, with the curiosity and initiative to modernise infrastructure, automate manual processes, and introduce best practices.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, NSE, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent are highly regarded.

Your achievements

  • You've designed and delivered secure, resilient enterprise network solutions that improved business continuity, scalability, and the end-user experience across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • You've successfully modernised network infrastructure by implementing technologies such as SD-WAN, SASE, cloud networking, or network automation, improving performance, security, and operational efficiency.
  • You've led or played a key role in delivering complex infrastructure projects, collaborating effectively with Cloud Engineering, Information Security, Workplace Technology, and external partners to achieve successful business outcomes.
  • You've improved the reliability and manageability of enterprise networks through automation, Infrastructure as Code, standardisation, and continuous service improvement.
  • You've demonstrated technical leadership by mentoring engineers, sharing knowledge, establishing best practices, and helping shape the future direction of enterprise networking within your organisation.
