Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto technologies. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about designing, implementing, and maintaining robust enterprise and campus network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
· Implement and manage VLANs, site-to-site VPNs, and end-to-end encryption solutions.
· Provide expert-level support for Cisco, Dell, and Palo Alto network devices.
· Collaborate with IT leadership to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
· Mentor and support junior network engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.
· Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide timely resolutions.
· Bridge on-premise infrastructure with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
· Ensure network security, performance, and reliability across all layers of the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering.
· Strong expertise in Cisco, Dell Networking, and Palo Alto firewalls.
· Proven experience with:
o VLAN configuration and management
o Site-to-site VPNs and encryption protocols
o Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
o Layer 2/3 switching
· Experience integrating on-premise networks with cloud infrastructure.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills.
· Experience mentoring or leading junior engineers.
·TS/SCI Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
· Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, PCNSE, Dell Networking certifications).
· Experience with network automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.).
· Familiarity with SD-WAN and Zero Trust architectures.
