About the Role:
CACI is seeking a talented Network Administrator to join our dynamic team dedicated to providing comprehensive Integrated Product Support (IPS) services for the Tactical Integrated Ground Suite (TIGS) System of Systems (SoS). Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring warfighting readiness by enhancing the operational availability and mission effectiveness of deployed and future TIGS SoS.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Specification: Create and deliver detailed specifications for network architecture and system configuration.

  • Solution Implementation: Select and implement cutting-edge hardware/software solutions to meet current and future business needs.

  • Configuration and Installation: Set up and install network devices and services including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and QoS.

  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct network testing and system performance monitoring to ensure maximum efficiency.

  • Maintenance: Perform network maintenance tasks such as system upgrades, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations.

  • Resource Management: Monitor system resource utilization, conduct trending analysis, and perform capacity planning.

  • Change Management: Work within change management policies and collaborate with vendors and IT personnel for effective problem resolution.

  • Technical Expertise: Maintain and enhance your technical knowledge in network hardware/software interconnection and interfacing technologies.

  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new network technologies and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:
Required:

  • An active DoD Top Secret clearance and obtain SCI.

  • Expert knowledge of multicast protocols (PIM, IGMP).

  • Experience with high-throughput network design and streaming optimization.

  • Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).

  • Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network equipment.

  • Experience with VLANs, routing, switching, and firewalls.

  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

  • IAT Level II credentials.

  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools.

  • Strong scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).

  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar tools.

Desired:

  • An active DoD TS/SCI clearance.

  • Master’s degree in IT/Computer Science with 5 – 10 years of experience.

  • Expert level certifications (CCIE, CCNP, CISSP).

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
