As the Network Engineer, you will
- Configure, administer, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and related network services.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including operating system updates, account management, software installation, and system maintenance.
- Support VMware virtual infrastructure, physical server hardware, storage, and associated infrastructure.
- Monitor network and system health, troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, virtualization, and connectivity issues, and restore services during operational incidents.
- Perform vulnerability remediation, security hardening, patch management, and maintain compliance with customer security requirements and STIGs.
- Install, upgrade, and replace network and server hardware while supporting system lifecycle and configuration management activities.
- Perform system backups, recovery operations, and secure data management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, configuration records, and system inventories.
- Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to implement changes, improve reliability, and enhance operational security.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI prior to start.
- Security+ CE (or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 IAT II certification).
- 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise network and systems infrastructure.
- Experience administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls.
- Experience supporting VMware or similar virtualization platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Skills Required
