Senior NetSuite Functional Consultant – Indonesia Tax Localization

Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Part-Time / 8 AM - 12 PM EST

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to support an Indonesia Tax Localization implementation. The consultant will be responsible for configuring Indonesian VAT (PPN), withholding tax (PPh), statutory reporting, and related tax accounting processes in NetSuite, based on requirements provided by the client's local tax advisers (KPMG).

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Configure NetSuite tax codes, tax types, tax accounts, and withholding tax rules.

• Support VAT accounting and reconciliation for revenue recorded through imported Journal Entries.

• Configure and validate withholding tax on Vendor Bills integrated from Coupa.

• Develop or configure statutory VAT and withholding tax reports, including CSV exports and supporting documentation.

• Assess requirements for Bukti Potong certificates and Coretax-compatible reporting.

• Work with technical consultants on tax-related scripts, integrations, and customizations.

• Perform end-to-end testing, UAT, documentation, and go-live support.

• Ensure tax configurations and customizations are restricted to the appropriate Indonesian subsidiary.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of NetSuite functional consulting experience preferred.

• Proven experience implementing tax localization, VAT, and withholding tax solutions.

• Strong understanding of NetSuite SuiteTax and/or Legacy Tax.

• Experience with statutory reporting, Saved Searches, and tax reconciliation.

• Experience working with third-party integrations and Journal Entry imports.

• Indonesia tax localization experience preferred; Philippine or other Southeast Asian localization experience acceptable.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and tax advisers.
