About The Role:
As a Senior Netsuite Engineer you will provide engineering and support to the company’s ERP team.
You will also be responsible for but not limited to the following -
- Translate business needs into technical solutions, working closely with functional and technical consultants
- Determine the right balance of configurations vs. customization to meet requirements efficiently.
- Develop technical solutions to meet ongoing business requirements
- Provide support to ensure system faults are rectified promptly
- Enable users at all levels to perform their jobs effectively
- Ensure business reports are accurate and provided in a timely manner
- Support continuous improvement of systems
- Assist the organisation in the selection, development of and transition to new solutions
- Build rapport and working relationship with teams within the business at both management and end user level
What You’ll Bring:
- Prior experience with ERP implementation and support.
- Proven experience in both Technical and Functional consulting roles, with hands-on delivery of Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) and Technical Requirements Documents (TRD).
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with expertise in requirements elicitation and alignment with business goals
- Adept at facilitating and leading design workshops, solution walkthroughs, and client presentations
· Skilled at translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language—and vice versa
- Highly collaborative, working effectively with project managers, developers, functional consultants, and client teams to ensure aligned delivery
- At least 3 years of experience with NetSuite consultancy and support.
- Knowledge and experience in Software Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge and experience in cloud and web application development.
- Prior experience with integration projects interconnecting different applications. (Especially through web services)
- Ability to translate a functional document/requirement to a technical design.
- Intermediate with these NetSuite modules: SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow and Advanced PDF/FreeMarker.
- Prior experience in applications such as OpenAir and Oracle HCM is an advantage
Qualifications and Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Business IT, Computer Science or related disciplines
- Professional certification in ERP platforms desirable
