This role will lead the architecture, design, and optimization of our NetSuite ERP platform in support of Finance, Accounting, and Manufacturing operations. The position requires deep technical expertise in NetSuite development, strong ERP process knowledge, and the ability to design scalable, compliant, and well-governed enterprise solutions.

You will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Enterprise Technology stakeholders to translate complex operational requirements into robust system designs. This role emphasizes architectural discipline, integration design, internal controls, and long-term platform scalability within structured and compliance-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and maintain scalable NetSuite solutions using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteTalk, and SuiteBuilder.

  • Translate complex Finance, Accounting, and Manufacturing requirements into robust, supportable system configurations.

  • Lead ERP–MES integration design, ensuring reliable and secure data flow between manufacturing systems and NetSuite.

  • Support advanced manufacturing operations including BOMs, routings, WIP, inventory, demand planning, and cost accounting.

  • Design and optimize Procure-to-Pay processes, including PO lifecycle governance, approval workflows, and transaction state controls.

  • Simplify and automate vendor onboarding processes with proper validations, compliance checks, and approval controls.

  • Establish CI/CD practices and structured deployment governance, including version control of scripts and configuration metadata across environments.

  • Ensure strong internal controls, segregation of duties, audit readiness, and system integrity within regulated or defense-focused environments.

  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and long-term platform stability while minimizing unnecessary customization.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive NetSuite development experience in complex enterprise environments.

  • Proven experience supporting multi-subsidiary or multi-legal-entity NetSuite deployments.

  • Deep functional understanding of core ERP processes including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, and Inventory Management.

  • Experience working in advanced manufacturing environments.

  • Strong understanding of ERP–MES integration concepts, data mapping strategies, and transactional integrity controls.

  • Proficiency in SuiteScript 2.x and structured scripting patterns with focus on governance limits and maintainable design.

  • Experience implementing version control and structured release management methodologies.

  • Strong knowledge of NetSuite Saved Searches, reporting architecture, and data extraction strategies.

  • Experience operating in regulated or defense-related environments preferred.

  • Strong analytical and architectural problem-solving capabilities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.

Key to Success in This Role

  • Strong architectural mindset with the ability to balance business needs, system integrity, and long-term scalability.

  • High ownership mentality with disciplined execution and attention to detail.

  • Ability to challenge requirements constructively and recommend optimal ERP design approaches.

  • Comfortable operating in structured, compliance-driven, and audit-sensitive environments.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced, high-growth manufacturing environments.

  • Proactive in identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and automation opportunities.

  • Commitment to maintaining clean system design and avoiding unnecessary customization.

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Occasional standing and walking within the office.

  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

  • Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports.
