The Senior NetSuite Developer is responsible for solution engineering, recommending and developing process improvements, evaluating third-party tools, and implementing enhancements to the NetSuite ERP system. This role works in partnership with the Business Applications team to closely align the NetSuite system with business goals and directly impact the growth and future of the ConnectWise platform.
- Provides support to the IT team, with a high attention to detail
- Researches, analyzes, and documents findings
- May coach, review, and/or delegate work to other team members
- Develops, tests, and deploys customizations, custom objects, and new functionality based on evolving business needs
- Develops custom code to meet user requirements
- Maintains users, roles, security, profiles, and workflow rules
- Develops and implements policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity
- Refines and customizes internal billing tools and methods
- Work with multiple teams on roadmap projects involving financial applications and processes
- Researches and analyzes application behaviors and improves performance and stability
- Coordinates and communicates with impacted user groups
- Configures NetSuite to align to company use of forms, field, and customer records to manage unique business process requirements.
- Ensures business and functional requirements are properly configured in NetSuite and other IT financial enterprise applications
- Designs changes to existing systems and integrate new systems into infrastructure if needed
- Assists in implementing process improvements with systematic solutions
- Understands, articulates, and documents needed customization, reports, and capabilities
- Takes a hands-on approach to troubleshooting complex issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent business experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with NetSuite integration, implementation, and testing
- Preferred: NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer certificate
