🏛️ Project OverviewThis critical engagement involves expanding the development capacity for a leading safety and compliance organization. The initiative focuses on scaling the ULTRUS SDS (Safety Data Sheet) authoring domain by establishing a second, dedicated team.
The core objective is to evolve the existing solution and achieve deeper integration with the client's comprehensive Ultrus platform. This requires leveraging existing core services while designing and introducing new, scalable frontend and backend components. You will be instrumental in ensuring architectural cohesion and future scalability. The project is delivered in close coordination with the client's product and engineering teams, strictly following Agile methodologies to meet accelerated timelines and high-quality standards.
🔑 Key Responsibilities- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance for the development of new services and integration patterns within the Ultrus platform.
- Design and implement robust and scalable backend components using .NET Core and C#, ensuring high performance and security.
- Collaborate with existing teams to define, document, and enforce code frameworks, standards, and best practices, including leading frequent, detailed code reviews.
- Architect and manage data models and integration points using Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework.
- Implement and secure authentication and authorization mechanisms leveraging Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Common Data Service integration.
- Vast experience serving in a Senior/Lead capacity, driving architecture, establishing code frameworks, and providing extensive code reviews and documentation.
- Deep expertise in modern backend development using .NET Core and C#.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including complex query writing, indexing, and database design.
- Expert-level practical experience with Entity Framework (Core or 6) for data access and persistence.
- Experience integrating and managing authentication/authorization using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD).
- Hands-on experience working with or integrating business data through the Common Data Service (CDS) (now part of Microsoft Dataverse).
- Experience in Agile methodologies and working effectively within a remote team environment.
- Fluent English for daily communication (written and verbal).
- Experience with advanced Azure infrastructure components such as Azure App Insights and Log Analytics for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Familiarity with traffic management and security tools like Azure Front Door and Azure API Management.
- Experience implementing secure user flows using Azure AD B2C and validating/handling JWTs.
- Experience with message queueing services like Azure Service Bus.
- Familiarity with different database types such as Cosmos DB (NoSQL) or Graph Databases.
- Knowledge of microservices patterns and toolsets like Dapr or strong experience with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit.
This is a 100% remote position for candidates located in Latin America (LATAM).
🤝 Time Zone & CollaborationThe role requires significant daily overlap and collaboration with teams operating primarily on US Eastern Time (EST). Flexibility to align your working hours to maximize this overlap is expected.
