Senior .NET Application Developer

We are looking for an Senior .NET Application Developer to support our client based in Tallahassee, Florida.

US BASED CANDIDATES ONLY.

This is an onsite position. Candidates must be located in or near Tallahassee, Florida.

The project

TECKpert seeks to hire an Senior .NET Application Developer to support our client, a government agency based in Tallahassee, FL. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, focusing on .NET technologies and data integration processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in API architecture, database design, and leading development teams in a high-demand environment.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Architect, design, and develop software applications using .NET technologies, including C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core (MVC, Web API, Blazor).
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions.
• Ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions that adhere to industry best practices and compliance requirements.
• Lead and mentor development teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Implement DevOps practices such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
• Conduct code reviews and performance optimizations, ensuring the highest standards of quality.
• Engage in data mapping and integration of large, complex datasets, ensuring data integrity and efficient processing.
• Provide technical support for high-volume data integration processes and resolve any related issues.
• Participate in Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft integration.

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time, position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $65/hour or $124,800 per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire. 

Candidates are expected to work onsite at our client’s location. 

Qualifications you need

A successful Senior .NET Application Developer possesses or provides the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field preferred
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with .NET Core and API development.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience with SQL (DDL/DML), advanced stored procedure writing, and database design (tables, keys, constraints, indexing, transactions).
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience leading development teams and managing software engineers.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience with data mapping and data integration architecture.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience analyzing and cleaning large datasets.
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience with Salesforce, Message MQ, and MuleSoft.
• Strong knowledge of system architecture and full software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to analyze performance, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
