Senior .NET Application Developer

Build software that people actually use.

This is a senior seat for a developer who can take a requirement, design the application, and ship it. You will own the work from specification through coding, testing, debugging and release, inside an Agile team that expects clean, documented code.

You will design, develop and deploy custom applications, and you will also build eLearning solutions that train and support the people who use them. Plans are coordinated with the development team and the business. Delivery follows a formal software development lifecycle and application lifecycle management process, so this is not a solo build-and-forget role.

What you will do:

·       Turn user requirements into designed, custom applications in an Agile environment

·       Design, develop and deploy programs from specifications

·       Code, test and debug, and document classes and code properly

·       Coordinate application plans with the development team and the business

·       Work to an established SDLC and ALM methodology

·       Design, develop and deploy eLearning solutions, and support.

What you need:

·       A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related technical IT certification

·       At least 7 years as an application developer

·       Strong hands-on experience with ASP.NET, Web Forms, MVC 5 and C#

·       JavaScript and jQuery

·       HTML and CSS

·       Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures

·       Blazor

·       Comfort with source code management
