ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Mobile Application Developer (iOS/Android/Wearables) to join our R&D team and help shape the future of our mobile-first products. WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications across iOS, Android, and Wearable platforms.
Build cross-platform solutions that work seamlessly on mobile devices and wearable technology, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and execute product strategies, ensuring a cohesive and unified vision across all platforms.
Stay ahead of the curve by incorporating new technologies and trends in mobile app development to enhance functionality and user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while ensuring adherence to software engineering best practices and industry standards.
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to share insights, remove blockers, and ensure continuous delivery of high-quality mobile products.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them grow and improve their skills while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Continuously optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user engagement, with a strong focus on ensuring seamless experiences across mobile and wearable devices.
Leverage cloud technologies like AWS or Azure for backend integrations and support the mobile development lifecycle.
Ensure security best practices are implemented in the development process and that all applications comply with industry standards and legal requirements.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
5+ years of experience in mobile application development, with expertise in building apps for iOS, Android, and Wearables.
Experience with cross-platform tools (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
Proficiency in iOS (Swift/Objective-C), Android (Java/Kotlin), and experience with wearable platforms like Apple WatchOS and Google WearOS.
Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS/Azure) and backend integrations is also essential.
Strong understanding of mobile app lifecycle, performance optimization, UI/UX best practices, and integrating mobile apps with cloud services and APIs.
Ability to identify challenges early and find creative solutions, ensuring the highest standards of performance, user experience, and functionality.
Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A passion for mobile technologies, wearables, and creating exceptional user experiences, especially in the fitness industry.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and maintain high levels of productivity.
