The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced and skilled senior-level Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) Administrator Lead to join our team supporting the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). This role is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of MECM infrastructure and services, ensuring optimal performance and security of endpoint systems across the organization. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the MECM infrastructure, including design, implementation, and ongoing management
Develop and implement MECM policies, procedures, and best practices
Manage software distribution, patch management, and operating system deployment using MECM
Configure and maintain MECM site systems, boundaries, and client settings and implement and manage endpoint security features within MECM
Troubleshoot complex MECM issues and provide technical guidance to junior administrators
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate MECM with existing infrastructure and security tools
Develop and maintain documentation for MECM processes and configurations
Monitor and report on MECM performance, compliance, and security metrics
Lead MECM-related projects and initiatives to improve endpoint management capabilities
Provide training and mentorship to junior team members on MECM administration
Qualifications:
Required:
US citizen with Secret security clearance, or ability to obtain Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field 7+ years of experience in IT systems administration, with at least 5 years focused on MECM/SCCM
Extensive experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy • Strong understanding of endpoint security principles and best practices
Experience working in DoD or Federal government environments
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skill
Must possess one of the following certifications:
Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Configuration Manager Current Branch
