The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer’s primary responsibility is designing, developing, and implementing custom solutions that enhance our financial, operational, and analytical capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). In this position, you will play a key role by helping to improve our existing implementation of D365 F&O and the Power Platform to drive supply chain operational efficiency and automate internal processes.

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Developer will also be responsible for working with the team to provide support for the system configuration, upgrade, change management, monitoring, auditing and integrations

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and develop custom solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to meet business requirements using X++ and C#.
• Customize D365 F&O modules, forms, actions, and workflows to align with business processes.
• Work with internal team and external vendors/developers to understand existing customizations.
• Coordinate migration of customizations from dev to test to prod environment.
• Provide production support for Dynamics 365 F&O, Supply Chain, Commerce, and LCS.
• Expert in using LCS and DevOps to build, deploy any new customization or configurations to other environments.
• Working knowledge of Dual Write and creating linked Dynamics 365 F&O and CE environments

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keep the system up to date with D365 F&O updates.
• Mentor and train internal development team.
• Create, modify, and maintain Power BI and SSRS reports.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations and development processes.
• Provides guidance and advice to IT leadership regarding ERP matters to achieve business strategies.
• Implement best practices and improve the ongoing maintenance process.
• Uses the Company’s Mission/Vision Statements and Core Values as their guiding principles.
• Have knowledge of the importance and execution of the performance testing for Enterprise Customers

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or related field.
• 3+ years of experience developing customizations in X++ and C#, providing support, and conducting maintenance of D365 F&O system as a developer or lead. Must have hands on experience.
• Experience with Microsoft ASP .Net, .NET Core & Web Development
• Experience with maintaining custom code in Azure DevOps
• Agile development experience and knowledge of leveraging Azure DevOps (Git Repo/Pipeline) as a DEV repository
• Experience with dataverse customizations (tables, views, actions and virtual entities)
• Experience with D365 Supply Chain Advanced Warehousing
• Knowledge of Power platform (PowerBI, Power Automate and PowerApps) and F&O integration
• Knowledge of Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, App Service, Service Bus)
• Knowledge of best practices in D365 F&O development
