The role supports pre-bind due diligence, post bind operational oversight through ongoing audit and corresponding monitoring activities. The individual will evaluate a target company’s risks, value drivers, and deal breakers. They utilise MGA/Delegated Authority framework to formulate a strategy to address due diligence risk areas and identify potential issues and matters of concern and be an integral part of the team to formulate solutions.
The Sr. MGA Operations Analyst a key member of the SCOR Delegated Operations team working in a fast-paced environment that encourages new ideas and a fresh way of thinking. Responsibilities include roles for the organisation:
- Management of due diligence process and administration of all classes for corresponding coverholders/for MGAs or TPA/DCAs. Including but not limited to, new Coverholder sponsorship, annual due diligence review and approval
Triaging core requirements across a number of stakeholders across the business to formulate the due diligence strategy and requirement pack.
Preparing detailed reports and presentations of due diligence findings
Work cross-functionally with Undewriting, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Legal and IT to assess operational readiness, identify gaps and track remediation, all in line with SCOR’s risk appetiate and delegated authority standards.
Provide first line triage across referral points including (Risk, Compliance, Finance, IT) and conducting detailed assessments on the operational set ups.
- Agreement onboarding: Structuring, reviewing and managing delegated authority contracts and renewals.
- Audit & compliance: Scoping and coordinating audits to ensure 3rd Coverholders and TPAs/DCAs comply with regulatory standards.
- Assist in the management of outsourcing arrangements and monthly performance against SLA’s,
- Assisting in the completion of regulatory, staturory and non-regulatory reporting to comply with internal/external requirements.
- Suppport income or EGPI reviews and updates.
- Ensure bordereaux are processed, driving data quality and metrics.
- Ensure data quality meets SCOR standards and rectify where gaps identified,
- Participating in internal/external business associated forums and actions,
- Other ad hoc tasks as required.
- Committees and Memberships:
- Contributor to SCOR Product Oversight Committee, Delegated Underwriting Committee and Delegated Claims Reporting Committee.
