As a Senior Mendix Developer, you will lead the delivery of enterprise-grade business applications, collaborating closely with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams. Your consultancy background and experience in custom software development will help drive impactful solutions using the Mendix platform.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape the full lifecycle of Mendix implementations — from initial design to go-live — while mentoring others and championing agile best practices.
You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by:
- Taking ownership of end-to-end application delivery using Mendix platform—from sprint zero to go-live—ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with customer needs.
- Becoming a Mendix expert to steer innovation within Mendix technology implementations
- Supporting customers and partners in becoming self-sufficient on the Mendix platform through enablement, mentoring, and workshop delivery.
- Promoting and leading Agile/Scrum-based practices in Mendix implementations.
- Being hands-on and playing an intrinsic part in the development process using the Mendix platform. You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of multiple phases; through project planning, development, documentation and successful customer adoption.
You’re the innovator we need if you:
- Have hands-on experience leading application development projects as a Mendix consultant/developer using agile methodologies
- Love to engage with the customer to drive innovation in their organisation. You influence, guide, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and enterprise customers.
- You communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and you can demonstrate the ability to analyse customer requirements and translate them into actionable, well-aligned solutions
- You are a fluent communicator in Dutch and English (both are required).
- Have experience mentoring junior team members, and enjoy enabling both internal colleagues and customers and facilitating workshops.
- Have worked effectively with partner resources and understand how to integrate them into delivery models.
Tech Stack – Nice to Have (but Not Required):
- As a Senior Mendix Developer, you’ll be building solutions on the Mendix low-code platform and collaborating across teams to design scalable, integrated applications. While your core focus will be on building with the Mendix platform, interest or experience in the following technologies will accelerate your impact:
- Experience with other low-code platforms
- Server-side programming: Java, .NET, C#, SQL
- Integration protocols: REST, SOAP, XML
- Databases: MSSQL, PostgreSQL
- Front-end: HTML, CSS/Sass, JavaScript, React
- Networking basics: HTTP, TLS, certificates
- Mobile and web development experience
- Certified Scrum Master or Agile facilitator
- Experience with enterprise customer environments
This role operates within a hybrid work model, allowing the flexibility to work from home and an average travel commitment of up to three days per week to meet with clients and engage in on-site activities, ensuring we maintain strong, personal connections with our customer base.
