Overview:We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and architecture of innovative systems and components for our AI-driven robots. In this role, you will tackle our most complex mechanical challenges, and take ownership of the product lifecycle from concept to production. You will drive cross-functional collaboration with electrical and software teams, oversee and optimize architectures for scalability, cost, and high-volume manufacturability.
Your Responsibilities:Design and Testing:
Lead the design and architectural definition of complex mechanical systems and components for AI-driven robots.
Create, review, and approve highly detailed 3D models and technical drawings for fabrication, ensuring best practices in GD&T.
Drive collaboration with engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and resolve complex cross-disciplinary technical bottlenecks.
Define and oversee advanced mechanical simulations, reliability testing, and performance validations.
Optimize mechanical architectures for cost, efficiency, and transition to mass production (DFM/DFA).
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computational Mechanics, Engineering Science or related field.
5+ years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in robotics or automation.
Experience in industrial design or special purpose machinery is a plus
Proficiency with CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo or similar.
Understanding of mechanical testing and prototyping processes.
Strong knowledge of material properties, manufacturing methods, and system integration.
Proven track record of taking hardware products through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to successful commercial production.
Willingness to travel ≈ 25% desirable

Expert proficiency with CAD tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar, as well as PDM/PLM systems.
Deep understanding of advanced mechanical testing, rapid prototyping, and reliability engineering.
