We are looking for a talented Senior Marketing Specialist to join our Americas Distributed Power Marketing team, for our Cummins Inc. facility in Shoreview, MN.
This role will help shape segment strategy, market outlooks, product roadmap inputs, channel evolution, and commercial execution priorities for Distributed Power in the Americas.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Support the execution of marketing strategy for a defined product line or geography by aligning deliverables to global brand objectives and business goals.
- Lead the development of data-driven marketing plans through market research, pricing analysis, and actionable insights for leadership decision-making.
- Partner with marketing leaders to create and refine targeted marketing communication plans that effectively engage key audiences.
- Drive project execution by coordinating timelines, tracking deliverables, and ensuring clear communication of progress and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate across global, cross-functional, and multi-cultural teams to successfully deliver marketing initiatives and exceed performance expectations.
- Represent Marketing on Value Package Introduction teams, contributing strategic input to support successful product launches.
- Integrate Voice of the Customer insights and customer satisfaction data into marketing strategies to enhance customer experience and market relevance.
- Mentor and support the development of less experienced marketing professionals while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the function.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
Knowledge of and experience using the four P's of marketing (Product, Price, Promotion, and Placement) required.

- Lead strategic marketing initiatives across Rental, Natural Gas, Microgrid, and G-Drive applications, shaping segment strategies, channel evolution, and product roadmap priorities aligned to business growth objectives.
- Develop comprehensive market outlooks, including sizing, growth projections, and trend analysis, with a focus on the transition to distributed energy, bridge-to-grid, and lower-carbon solutions.
- Drive competitive intelligence and market sensing efforts by analyzing competitor offerings, pricing strategies, channel models, and customer value propositions to inform strategic decision-making.
- Support margin performance and cost-to-serve improvements by identifying opportunities for cost optimization, channel efficiency, and enhanced commercial effectiveness.
- Maintain and advance the G-Drive growth roadmap, prioritizing opportunities through actionable insights, customer feedback, and cross-functional alignment.
- Partner across Americas Marketing and Sales Operations to strengthen program planning, execution discipline, and market activation strategies, including events and trade shows.
- Contribute to annual operating plans and long-term growth strategies by aligning investments, commercial priorities, and market opportunities.
- Integrate cross-functional perspectives from product, sales, and regional teams to ensure cohesive execution and sustained business impact.
