Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale projects, driving cross-functional teams, and delivering results on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication abilities.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred or minimum 3 years of experience in project management.
- Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving/critical thinking skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello). Experience in Workfront preferred.
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations.
- Strategic Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, designers and leadership providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any issues that arise.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess project processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Management: Manage a team of two project managers – continuously building and improving internal collaboration and processes.
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL & ENVIRONMENT):
- Limited travel required includes air and car travel.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
