Senior Marketing Manager

Nelo is a leading consumer fintech and e-commerce platform in Mexico, with >$500MM in annualized GMV and >$75MM in annualized revenue. Our mission is to increase the buying power of consumers in Latin America, and we are doing so by building a modern alternative to credit cards.

Nelo has raised over $40M of venture capital from investors including Homebrew, Two Sigma Ventures and Susa Ventures. Nelo has additionally raised a $100M asset credit facility from Victory Park Capital.

Our lean team includes experienced leaders from top technology companies including Uber, Amazon, Rappi, and DiDi. We pride ourselves on our velocity, intellectual rigor, and efficiency.

Nelo has offices in Mexico City and New York City.

We're looking for a Senior Marketer to help Nelo become a household name in Mexico. We have deep product-market fit: millions of customers, $75M in revenue, 45 employees, and we have been profitable for the last 2 years. We'll double again this year. We're looking for someone to build the brand, tell our story, and make Nelo the name Mexican consumers trust.

• Own brand strategy and positioning - define how Nelo shows up in the world

• Build and execute influencer and creator campaigns that drive awareness and trust

• Lead product marketing - launch communications, feature storytelling, and customer education

• Define and execute PR strategy

• Partner closely with product and growth teams to translate what we build into stories people care about

This is a rare opportunity. We've already built a product customers love - retention and NPS prove it. Your job is to make sure the world knows who Nelo is and what we stand for.

• Strong brand and storytelling instincts. You know how to build a brand that people remember and trust. You've done it before.

• Influencer and creator expertise. You've built successful influencer programs. You know how to find the right partners, structure deals, and measure what's working.

• Mexico market expertise. You understand Mexican consumers - what builds trust, what makes them share, what resonates culturally. Spanish fluency required.

• AI-native. You use AI tools daily to move faster. You're excited about how AI changes what's possible in marketing.

• Founder mentality. You take ownership as if it were your company. You're resourceful, scrappy, and despise bureaucracy.

Realistically, you'll need 6+ years of marketing experience with meaningful time in brand, product marketing, or influencer roles. Fintech or consumer experience is a major plus.

Location: Mexico City (strongly preferred) or NYC. In Office.
