The Team

As part of the UK & Ireland Commercial Team, the Senior Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with the UK & Ireland Country Lead and functional leaders to ensure that short and long-term sales goals are reached.

As a member of the UK & Ireland Management Team you will support shaping Mundipharma’s future as a Specialty Care company. Maintaining a strong commitment to customer-centricity and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a consistently valuable customer experience.

Role and Responsibilities

  • As our Senior Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in the implementation of our corporate goals and drive the update of Napp products through our marketing strategy.

  • You will Lead the marketing sub function in the UK and Ireland Commercial team to drive and execute customer engagement strategies and collaborate with various functions to implement and evaluate activities that adapt to the dynamic digital landscape, enhancing Mundipharma's competitiveness.

  • You will serve as the ambassador for Mundipharma's vision and values, actively advocating for the customer's perspective in all business engagements and across channels.

  • You will take the lead in developing and implementing Omnichannel Plans for the product portfolio, including anti-fungal and lead the Specialty Care strategy, aligning these plans with global brand strategies, compliance standards, and healthcare regulations.

  • You will lead collaboration with committees and workstreams to promote alignment, share best practices, identify opportunities, and overcome challenges. You will provide essential guidance and feedback to the Customer Engagement Strategy Team, enabling the successful execution of omnichannel projects and the driving of new initiatives.

Leadership

  • Overall responsibility for ensuring the successful delivery of the company’s objectives, by leading, driving and executing the marketing strategies to enhance Mundipharma’s competitiveness for the UK & Ireland:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive brand strategy for the company's product portfolio, aligned with company objectives.

  • Design and execute fully integrated, omni-channel marketing strategies to drive personalized customer engagement and ensure ongoing evaluation.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to shape and execute the omnichannel and digital strategy, enhancing the HCP experience and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Lead organizational change efforts, embedding new tools, culture, and capabilities. Implement a cross-functional and cross-country learning and best practice sharing methodology to capture successes and setbacks, enabling continuous improvement.

  • Continuously enhance customer experience across all touchpoints and establish relevant services and partnerships with stakeholders.

  • Build strong relationships and collaborate closely with key external stakeholders (e.g. KOL’s and medical societies), to develop advocacy initiatives and effectively communicate brand and disease messages to diverse audiences.

  • Facilitate fast and effective implementation of new SFE strategies within the cluster.

Product Launch Leadership

  • Ensure the implementation of customer engagement initiatives that maximize the success of the recent product launch.

  • Foster a close partnership with the Market Access Director to gather insights, enabling the development of impactful strategies for engaging customers, Medical Societies, and key stakeholders.

  • Engage with Global Functions to provide insights and effectively communicate the realities and requirements of local markets. Ensure that the global strategy is aligned and meaningful in the specific cluster countries where the product is being launched.

  • Work in close collaboration with the Business Leadership Team to facilitate a successful product launch.

Team Leadership/Performance

  • Responsible for managing and development of the marketing team.

  • Provide leadership through clear strategic direction and focus of the team to manage their work and deliver results whilst creating an inclusive environment of high performance and integrity supported by continued development, effective resources planning, selection of new hires, distribution of roles and responsibilities, mentoring, and performance evaluation taking appropriate action to address this when necessary.

  • Consistently develop and promote collaboration and teamwork. Act as a visible role model for the Mundipharma values and culture.

  • Ensuring the team is trained on internal compliance procedures and standards as well as on the Pharmaceutical Industry Code of Good Practices and other industry-related legislation.

  • Collaborate with wide range of cross-functional teams, who touch critical commercial processes (e.g. Sales Lead, Medical, Market Access) to ensure coordinated execution across roles and responsibilities.

  • Foster effective communication through cross-functional teams.

Financial/budget management

  • Effectively establish and manage the department’s budget and promotional budget allocation process, aligned to planned promotional activities, to maximize return on promotional spend.

  • Establish individual and team performance targets that align with overall business goals.

Team Collaboration

  • Enhance and improve coordination, collaboration and communication among the Customer Engagement Execution Unit and cross-functionally to drive the commercial excellence.

  • Act as a role model in patient centricity putting patients at the heart of all that we do.

  • Provide strategic input to the Marketing Manager and Omnichannel Excellence Manager for development and continued evolution of the customer engagement and omnichannel plan as well as KAM-related customer resources.

  • Serve as key interface with UK & Ireland Country Lead and cross-functional partners across the organization.

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant experience in digital & healthcare marketing, brand management, or related roles within the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Relevant experience in managing and executing multiple cross-functional initiatives collaborating with local, Cluster and Global levels.

  • Demonstrated experience using innovative digital channels and platforms for communications: Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, digital marketing, and customer engagement.

  • Talent Management – strong demonstrable people leadership/management experience including the ability to lead, motivate and coach the team to achieve success. (previous experience leading a team is essential)

  • Business relationship management skills – working with cross functional teams & stakeholders without positional authority while building trust and evoke influence.

  • Robust knowledge of the UK Healthcare System

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change and implement new initiatives.

  • Ability to plan, set clear objectives, organise, prioritise and meet deadlines in changing and challenging environments.

  • High degree of professionalism and in accordance with the company’s code of Ethics and Business Conduct.

  • Customer champion: the ability to gather customer insights and challenge the company to seek solutions from a patient/customer perspective.

  • Proven ability to manage budgets: Strategic and commercial acumen.

  • Drive & ambition – can take accountability for delivery of results at pace, working both alone and in collaboration with key internal partners.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
