About the job

Marketing Automation (MA) is a key driver of growth for the Energy Division. We are building a centralized automation capability that operates as both an internal agency and a center of excellence—leading the divisional MA strategy, , and programs while partnering with the wider organization - enabling sales companies to execute locally with speed and confidence.

In this role, you will own the energy division marketing automation strategy and programs end-to-end. You will design scalable journeys, ensure strong data, consent, and scoring governance, and lead cross-functional delivery. You will also establish a structured experimentation and reporting framework to inform leadership decisions. Ultimately, you will build the energy division marketing automation engine that improves relevance, conversion, and revenue—while equipping business units and sales companies with templates, and coaching needed to execute effectively.

Priority areas & responsibilities for this role include:

1. Lifecycle Architecture & Journey Design

  • Define Marketing Automation frameworks across personas, products, industries and stages; design end-to-end journeys, maintain global modules, governance, and localization toolkits

2. Data& Scoring Governance

  • Develop lead/account scoring, optimize performance, tracking, and tagging standards
  • Ensure GDPR compliance and governance

3. Program Execution & Operations

  • Build and optimize automated MA journeys with supporting content across channels
  • Manage always-on-lifecycle programs and ensure accurate tracking

4. Integrations & Personalization

  • Integrate marketing automation priorities with Web, CRM, product, events, and other relevant channels
  • Collaborate on templates, audience sync, and personalization

5. Experimentation & Optimization

  • Lead structured testing across messaging, offers, cadence, and channels, maintaining a knowledge base to scale successes

6. Enablement & Scaling

  • Develop playbooks, templates, training, and readiness assessments
  • Manage central assets and localization workflows

This position is based in Lund and will report to the Energy Division Head of Marketing & Commercial Excellence

Who You Are 

You are a marketing technologist with hands-on marketing automation experience. You set high standards while enabling colleagues to scale marketing automation effectively. Skilled at influencing cross-functional stakeholders, you orchestrate platforms, funnels, analytics, sales/CRM. Driven by a passion for measurable marketing outcomes, you consistently ensure that marketing delivers tangible results.

What you know

  • Master’s/Bachelor’s in Marketing, Information Systems, Data/Analytics, or similar.  

  • 3+ years hands-on in B2B or B2C marketing automation; Agency or Center of Excellence background required   

  • Expertise in one or more marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo preferred, HubSpot, Salesforce ) 

  • Practical knowledge of deliverability, privacy (GDPR), and data hygiene  

  • Evidence of journey architectures you’ve designed, scoring models you’ve tuned

  • Excellent English skills both written and spoken
