We’re looking for a Senior Analyst to help build and scale SMB (Small & Micro Business) marketing analytics at Remitly. This is a 0 to 1 role, where you’ll define how analytics drive value for SMB marketing strategy, customer growth, and long-term value.

You’ll work closely with senior marketing and business leadership, helping shape problem statements, drive analytical direction, and translate data into clear, actionable insights. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, operates with strong ownership, and enjoys building new analytical foundations rather than executing predefined tasks.

You Will:

  • Partner directly with senior leadership to define business problems, success metrics, and analytical frameworks for SMB marketing initiatives

  • Lead end-to-end analysis across the SMB customer lifecycle, including acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and monetization

  • Drive a self-directed analytics roadmap, prioritizing high-impact work without waiting for fully defined requests

  • Design experiments, evaluate marketing effectiveness, and influence decision-making with data-backed recommendations

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Product, Finance, Data Engineering) to ensure analytical rigor and alignment

  • Raise the bar on analytical depth, storytelling, and business impact within the marketing analytics function

You Have:

  • 6+ years of experience in business or data analytics, preferably within a high-growth B2C fintech or e-commerce environment.

  • Technical depth (SQL, Visualization, Experimentation): Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets from multiple sources. Expertise in building high impact narratives via data visualization tools such as Tableau, or Mode. 

  • Strong proficiency with statistical design and analysis of experiments. Hands on experience of designing and analysing A/B experiment

  • Influencer & Communicator: Track record of presenting to senior executives, defending your insights, and influencing product/marketing roadmaps.

  • Partner horizontally: Demonstrated ability to partner and consult with cross functional teams (especially in marketing, product and finance organisations).

  • Global Mindset: Experience working across time zones (US/Europe/India) and an understanding of the nuances of the global remittance landscape.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Good to have: 

    • Direct experience in global remittances or cross-border payments

    • Advanced knowledge of Python or R for statistical modeling

    • Experience in zero to one product
