The Community You Will Join:

Every day, Airbnb hosts create unique stays and experiences that allow guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. Since our founding, over 5 million hosts have welcomed more than 2 billion guest arrivals in nearly every country worldwide.

The Supply – Stays team plays a key role in shaping these stays. As a multidisciplinary team, we partner with Hosts to conceptualize and develop high-quality, repeatable, and commercially viable offerings that align with our brand values.

Airbnb is seeking a Senior Market Manager, with a focus on France, to support and grow our network of Hosts and Partners. This role will be part of the team and report to the Territory Manager. As someone who knows the Airbnb mission and values inside out, you will drive all phases of supply acquisition and market success, including acquisition strategy development, generating and converting supply leads, and strategic partners relationship management, as well as creating them from scratch. You will help develop and iterate scalable localized supply management strategies for developed and highly competed market destinations to ensure our long-term market success.

A Typical Day:

  • Develop and own the supply strategy for your assigned geographic markets in France
  • Build and manage partner relationships to exceed quarterly and annual sales goals. This includes holding optimization and business reviews with your clients as well as representing Airbnb in external meetings with Hosts
  • Respond to and deliver exceptional service to your professional hosts in a timely and efficient manner, with regular in-person touchpoints to build long-lasting relationships.
  • Prospect and onboard high-quality supply in your assigned region.
  • Gain deep knowledge of your assigned markets and serve as the go-to source for local trends and dynamics.
  • Analyze data and apply insights to identify and act on strategic opportunities that drive sales growth.
  • Apply an entrepreneurial mindset to design, develop, and execute tailored engagement initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with public policy, legal, communication, and customer support teams to ensure long-term success.
  • Maintain a baseline understanding of software integrations to provide effective client support.
  • Educate clients on significant product updates and relay feedback to internal stakeholders.

Your Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, partner support, and/or sales, with 2+ years in the hospitality/travel industry preferred
  • Fluency in French and English is required
  • Willingness to travel regularly to your assigned market (1-2 times per quarter)
  • Proven track record in managing a leads pipeline and/or book of business
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, Mixmax a plus) and managing core objects (leads, opportunities)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage clients via Zoom, Email, and In-person
  • Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret and apply data effectively
  • Ability to work strategically and tactically, managing time, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives;
  • Charismatic self-starter who is resourceful and self-sufficient
