For more than 45 years, Sedgman has been a trusted leader in minerals processing.

As we continue to diversify and expand globally, we're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Senior Market Analyst to support our next phase of growth and diversification.

Working closely with the Manager, Business Sustainability, you'll benefit from the experience and insights of a leader who has spent over two decades with Sedgman and played a key role in the company's evolution.

You'll partner with key stakeholders across APAC and our global business, with exposure to the broader HOCHTIEF and ACS Group network, to deliver market insights that inform strategic plans and help identify new opportunities.

Leveraging your expertise in Power BI, Tableau or similar analytical tools, along with external market intelligence platforms, you'll help drive data-informed decision-making across the business.

While experience in the resources sector, bulk and critical minerals processing, or a related industry will be highly regarded, we're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds who bring strong analytical capability, commercial awareness and a strategic mindset.

In this role, you will:

  • Analyse market, competitor and project pipeline data to identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends.
  • Engage with regional and sector leaders to support strategic business priorities and growth initiatives.
  • Deliver reports, presentations and insights that support executive decision-making and business development activities.
  • Manage external research subscriptions and data sources, helping teams maximise the value of available information.
  • Monitor competitor activity, industry developments, economic drivers and policy changes across key markets.
  • Contribute to regional and global planning activities through targeted research, reporting and commercial insights.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in strategy, market intelligence, consulting, advisory or commercial roles that support business decision-making.
  • A strong analytical mindset and the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the factors that drive business performance, investment and expansion.
  • Confidence working with data, financial information and analytical tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality analysis.

Why Sedgman?

  • Make the role your own and help shape how market intelligence supports strategic decision-making across the business.
  • Work closely with experienced leaders and subject matter experts across Australia and our global operations.
  • Gain exposure to international markets, major projects and emerging sectors across the resources industry.
  • Develop a broad understanding of the commercial drivers shaping the resources sector.
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid working environment that supports work-life balance.
  • Access wellbeing benefits through our Vitality program, including discounts on shopping, travel and more.

If this opportunity resonates with you, we'd love to hear from you. Submit your CV for consideration today.
