We are looking for a manufacturing test engineer to debug and solve complex hardware and software test problems. We are looking for a smart, dynamic person to work in our fast-paced manufacturing environment supporting Nokia’s highly innovative integrated products. This position has an emphasis on continuous improvement of our environmental stress test of our optical communication products to maintain Nokia’s products of high quality and reliability recognized by our customers.

Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the development/sustaining, installation, documentation and support of our environmental stress test of our next generation electrical/optical modules/systems.
  • To develop new test plan/specification with guidance from R&D HW labs and improves on deployed solutions.
  • To develop and support automated manufacturing test infrastructure
  • To develop VB.NET and Python based Software with our global test engineering together to automate the test execution
  • To be responsible for refining test process and strategy to drive failures out of the manufacturing process by closely working with CM staff and performing data analysis. 
  • To be responsible for statistical analysis of product test parameters and equipment measurements
  • To be a key member of cross-functional team inside our CM environment
  • To work independently and prioritizes tasks
     
Qualifications

You have:

  • Working experience in products with hardware, firmware and software elements
  • Practical experience defining test criteria based on product specification, error of measurement
  • Proven ability to develop automated test solutions and deploy to manufacturing locations
  • Hands on experience with electrical and telecom test and measurement equipment
  • Practical experience in environmental stress test and its theory of operations
  • Familiarity with optical test such as OSNR, BER, Eye Diagram, and so on parametric measurements a plus
  • Good knowledge of databases like SQL Server etc…
  • Proficient in VB.net or other related .net programming languages 
  • The ideal candidate is analytic, detail-oriented, with great quantitative analysis skills, is self-motivated, able to pro-actively communicate with all employees and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Thai.
  • BS(MS a plus) in EE/CS with 5+ years of experience with telecom/data networking industry related test software/firmware/system software development

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in telecom/data networking
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • Experience with hardware, firmware, and software elements
  • Hands-on experience with electrical and telecom test equipment
