The role
Reporting to the Director, Workplace Operations (APAC), you will lead the day-to-day management of Stryker’s workplaces across the region. You’ll be the key point of contact for regional leaders, ensuring our facilities are safe, compliant, fit-for-purpose and aligned to business growth.
This is a senior, hands-on leadership role combining facilities management, stakeholder partnership, vendor governance, and strategic planning, with a clear focus on employee experience, operational excellence and scalability.
What you’ll do
- Lead, coach and develop a regional Workplace Operations team covering facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, space utilisation, workplace services and FM project delivery
- Partner with regional leaders to understand business needs and translate these into effective workplace, space and service strategies
- Lead and govern third-party service providers across facilities, building services, moves, hospitality, cleaning, security and related services
- Represent the business on regional RE&F projects including renovations, expansions and consolidations, including move planning and occupancy tracking
- Own regional operating and capital budgets, including forecasting, variance reporting and quarterly reviews
- Ensure safe, compliant and sustainable workplace operations in line with company standards, RE&F strategy and local regulations
- Identify and deliver opportunities to improve space utilisation, service delivery, employee experience and cost efficiency
- Collaborate closely with HR, IT, Security, Finance, Legal, EHS and global RE&F partners to deliver integrated solutions
What you’ll bring
Required
- 10+ years’ progressive experience in Workplace or Facilities Operations within a complex or regulated environment, with accountability for service delivery, vendors and budgets
- Experience leading geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams and operating effectively with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, including ownership of budgets and the ability to build business cases and drive change
- Experience delivering complex workplace or operational initiatives with strong communication, planning and organisational skills
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Real Estate or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Professional certifications such as IFMA, CoreNet, BOMA or LEED
