The Workplace Experience [WE] team is dedicated to supporting our North America Corporate Offices across Gap Inc. and its iconic house of brands. - Lead creative efforts from initial stages through construction and installation.
- Collaborate with external design teams and vendors to ensure alignment with Gap Inc.'s corporate workplace concepts.
- Develop and own overall design concepts, storytelling, and presentations.
- Create globally scalable, forward-thinking FF&E and space standards in partnership with the Workplace Strategist
- Partner with Brand Design and Creative Director to align employee experience guidelines and execution within the physical workplace
- Build, catalog and maintain a samples & materials library
- Host onsite vendor, peer sessions, team sessions to share industry insights and best practices
- Partner with the Workplace Strategist to create space solutions based on data and insights that inform our workplace environment
- Produce renderings and visuals as needed
- Establish creative direction and serve as the design SME on construction projects.
- Ensure a consistent customer experience across regions while respecting local cultural nuances.
- Partner with teams in Portfolio Management, Sustainability, Environmental Health and Safety, Food, Travel, and Events to enhance program deliverables and improve workspace quality.
- Interact and present to VP+ leaders
- Ability to distill large, strategic concepts into practical execution.
- Deep knowledge of furniture, flow, and environmental design.
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends & codes.
- Proven history of building, documenting, and maintaining space standards.
- Expansive, outside-the-box thinking for space solutions.
- Familiarity with industry codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing project schedules, issues, risks, and stakeholder communication.
- 5+ years of corporate interior design experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with universal, neurodiverse, services, and biophilia design.
- Experience working for product companies.
- Ability to negotiate and maintain contracts with key vendors.
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite, with exploration of new techniques using AI.
- Ability to convey design and intention through storytelling and presentation.
- Ability to travel up to 20% per year
