Core Responsibilities
- Assist in building and managing the product roadmap for EquitableBank.ca leveraging a deep understanding of our users, brand, & products to improve on-site experience & increase conversion to support Equitable Bank’s growth ambitions.
- Apply a particular emphasis to our only direct-to-consumer lending business (reverse mortgage), supporting tools and testing hypothesis to improve lead capture and conversion.
- In partnership with the business units, marketing & analytics, define goals and KPIs to measure success of the roadmap. Report on metrics that ladder up to overall OKRs.
- In partnership with your engineering and design leads, manage the end-to-end product lifecycle including user research, sprint planning and prioritization, sprint execution, retros and our release process.
- Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring clear and effective communication to development teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand/marketing, CX, analytics, design, UX/UI, product, & engineering to deliver best in class user experience and conversion.
- Manage website conversion optimization & testing strategy including user testing, A/B testing and data analysis. Create sound hypotheses for feature, content & design changes to enhance website effectiveness and the own testing plan. Share results across functionally and use learnings/insights to inform ongoing optimizations.
- Assist with initiatives & website tests. Manage the backlog including prioritization for greatest impact, grooming, writing requirements and generally keeping the design & development team unblocked and running efficiently.
- Support and implement strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive search traffic, and conversions using SEO or partnerships with external sources of user traffic.
- Identify content gaps and conduct competitor research to target content opportunities.
- Execute keyword research and on-page optimization with respect to headings, page titles, descriptions, canonicals, URLs, internal link structures, etc.
- Assist with implementation of SEO fields and content migration to new CMS as needed.
- Partner with performance marketing team & analytics in the creation and maintenance of dashboards and tracking tools to monitor performance including overall effectiveness of design/feature enhancements & tests, make recommendations and share insights with key stakeholders.
- Managing various vendor relationships, particularly in regard to contract workers and integrations.
- Working with legal, compliance, fraud, etc. to ensure protection of Equitable, and especially our customers.
- Support other activities under the Senior Product Manager, Retail Lending Transformation, Growth Businesses.
Let's talk about you!
- 4-7 years demonstrated track record of developing, and building successful strategy, roadmaps and successful digital products.
- 2+ years managing a dedicated pod including a full suite of resources including interfacing with tech, developers, designers and product marketers.
- Strong problem solver with ability to influence and inspire a cross-functional team to reach ambitious goals.
- Post-Secondary Degree in Commerce, Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, etc. MBA or other graduate degree a plus.
- Familiarity and expertise with consumer technology, both common and leading.
- Familiarity with user experience & design principles, specifically for digital interactions.
- Proven strategic leadership experience and ability to initiate and execute projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organization.
- You have a curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
