About the Role:

Demandbase is looking for a Senior Manager of Web Strategy to own and evolve our web strategy as a core growth engine. This role blends strategy and execution—driving conversion, discoverability, and scalability across the web experience while managing internal and external web resources.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end web strategy, ensuring the site supports demand generation, PLG motions, and revenue growth

  • Conduct gap analysis of current-state web capabilities and build a clear bridge plan to future-state goals

  • Lead conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts, including landing page strategy, testing, and performance improvement

  • Drive SEO and AI search optimization to improve discoverability and inbound performance

  • Manage web development resources, including prioritization, capacity planning, budgets, and delivery timelines

  • Partner with design and marketing to define web design standards and user experience strategy

  • Provide technical oversight for CMS platforms and migrations (e.g., WordPress to Webflow), ensuring scalability and performance

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of relevant professional experience

  • 3-5 years in people management experience

  • Experience owning web strategy in a B2B SaaS environment, with measurable impact on growth or demand generation

  • Experience supporting enterprise and mid-market audiences; B2B SaaS strongly preferred

  • Strong technical fluency to partner with and manage web developers and CMS platforms

  • Hands-on experience leading CMS migrations (e.g., WordPress to Webflow) and ongoing platform optimization

  • Advanced use of web analytics, experimentation, and performance reporting to inform strategy and influence stakeholders

  • Proven budget management experience, including internal teams and external vendors
