(1) Provide financial reports for SLF operation in Indonesia
- Including IFRS 17 Valuation, Driver of Earnings, income sensitivities on market events and insurance risks and, additional reports or ad hoc reports required from time to time.
- The reports must be correct, complete and adhere to all the standards set by SLF Corporate and external bodies.
- Plan for Method and Assumption (M&A) changes, which includes timing; evaluation of impact on the financial reports; and explanation of the impact.
- Ensure all documentation standards are met for the financial reports and for Model Change Management (MCM).
(2) Participating Business Management
- Responsible for valuation modelling for Participating products
- Determine monthly asset shares to track the policyholders’ fair share of the Terminal Bonus Par fund.
- Monitor UDL (Unallocated Dividend Liabilities) fund changes of the Par closed block including to understand the source of experience variance.
- Lead annual interest study to support dividend recommendation
(3) IFRS 17 Valuation Works and Optimization
Lead the IFRS 17 Valuation works during quarterly closing in order to submit financial reports in agreed timeline for both baseline and sensitivities reports:
- Ensure correctness of valuation outputs and fulfilment cash flow movement reasonably explained.
- Work with other parties to successfully delivered the valuation works, ie. MMC (Model Management Center), RI (Risk Integrity) team, Finance, and IT to address valuation issues.
- Work with Finance to understand actual experience for Driver of Earnings analysis
- Provide continuous improvement for IFRS 17 Optimization Process.
(4) Supervise and develop subordinates
- Validate all the reports produced by subordinates accurately, reasonable and set-up with proper methodology
- Ensure all the reports are submitted timely as agreed schedule and taking account of team resource availability
- Supervise subordinates and giving clear instructions in processing his/her tasks
- Develop subordinate by enhance his/her on technical knowledge
(5) Provide support for any additional reports or ad hoc reports required from time to time.
