Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world’s leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Senior Manager, Technology Enablement.

The Senior Manager, Technology Enablement, serves as the business owner for the Practice Group's technology portfolio, ensuring the technology investments are effectively operationalized, adopted, optimized, and translated into measurable business value.

This role functions as an internal strategic consultant responsible for identifying operational opportunities, improving service delivery, leading enterprise initiatives, and maximizing the return on the Practice Group's technology investments.

Unlike traditional technology leadership positions focused on engineering or platform development, this role focuses on business enablement ensuring technology capabilities are fully leveraged through process optimization, stakeholder alignment, client engagement, operational consulting, and continuous improvement.

The Senior Manager partners directly with attorneys, clients, executive leadership, and operational teams to evaluate business needs, identify organizational blind spots, improve technology adoption, develop scalable service offerings, and lead strategic initiatives from concept through implementation.

Success in this position requires exceptional consulting, communication, operational strategy, project leadership, and change management skills, combined with deep experience within legal technology, eDiscovery, and professional services environments.

Maintaining an in-office presence is important to delivering our services through an integrated and collaborative work culture.  This position will reside in any of our Boston, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Chicago, or San Francisco offices with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

  • Lead enterprise and Practice Group strategic initiatives from planning through implementation.

  • Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and executive presentations.

  • Facilitate steering committees and support organizational change management.

  • Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Provide PMO leadership and ensure initiatives remain aligned with business objectives.

Operational Excellence

  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

  • Apply Lean principles, process mapping, and service delivery optimization to improve business processes.

  • Develop KPIs, governance frameworks, SOPs, and other tools to support consistent and effective operations.

Client & Attorney Engagement

  • Partner with attorneys, clients, and internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide technology consulting for core eDiscovery platforms.

  • Participate in client pitches and presentations as needed.

Market & Technology Evaluation

  • Research emerging technologies, market trends, and industry best practices for core eDiscovery platforms to supplement existing tool suites currently supported by the Operations team.

  • Evaluate vendors and technology solutions through demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives.

  • Conduct ROI analysis, benchmarking, and technology assessments.

  • Develop recommendations to support technology investment and business decisions.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead through influence and collaboration rather than direct authority.

  • Build consensus and foster strong relationships across business, technology, and operational teams.

  • Communicate effectively with executive leadership and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Support strategic planning, resource optimization, and organizational priorities.

  • Provide recommendations related to resources, budgets, and technology investments.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
