We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager, specializing in Transfer Pricing, to join our global team based in Noida, India. This role will involve close collaboration with both the US and India transfer pricing teams, focusing on the management and oversight of the India-based team. Together, you will prepare and review transfer pricing documentation reports that comply with US and OECD standards.
Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing global transfer pricing documentation reports, managing the preparation and review of external, benchmarking analyses, analyzing tested party data for transfer pricing purposes, coordinating the preparation of monthly transfer pricing entries in partnership with the accounting department, and reviewing and preparing intercompany agreements. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in defending transfer pricing strategies during local Indian tax examinations.
The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with extensive experience in managing teams, particularly in a local context, and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail. Expertise in tax and financial modeling, together with strong written and verbal communication skills, is essential as you will be expected to produce comprehensive transfer pricing reports and effectively communicate with tax and finance teams located in the US and UK.
It is important that the Senior Tax Manager stays up to date with international transfer pricing regulations and ensures the alignment of company practices with current laws and methodologies. This role will also involve close collaboration with the global tax team in the United States, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the company’s foreign tax accounting and compliance efforts.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, tax, economics, accounting, finance or related field. Advanced degree and/or C.P.A. certification is a plus.
- At Least 10 years of experience working in transfer pricing and global tax environment, in any Big 4.
- Experience in NetSuite, Oracle (or other ERP), managing large teams in the preparation of global transfer pricing documentation.
- Ability to operate independently as well as with a team on various projects..
- In depth understanding of US, OECD, and local country transfer pricing regulations.
- Advanced financial modeling, database, and research skills (i.e., Power Queries with Excel, Alteryx modeling, PowerBI data analytics).

What will you be doing in this role?
- Preparing global transfer pricing documentation reports, including gathering factual and financial information and supporting data and applying economic concepts to support intercompany charges. You will manage the local team in India to help with the preparation of the documentation reports.
- Updating key facts incorporated in transfer pricing analyses through written and oral communications.
- Participation in functional interviews, gathering and analyzing intercompany financial data, and economic analysis supporting the preparation and review of presentations and documentation reports.
- Preparing complex financial analyses and models in Excel involving the intercompany transactions for the Company and preparation of intercompany invoices.
- Reviewing and maintaining monthly/quarterly transfer pricing entries and working with accounting to ensure they are properly added to local ERP systems
- Reviewing and updating local statutory financial accounts for transfer pricing purposes.
- Partnering with Finance and IT to acquire an understanding of information systems and collect data to independently identify and analyze various aspects of intercompany transactions.
- Collaboration with various groups within the Company, including but not limited to finance, indirect and direct tax, and tax teams globally to gain business understanding needed.
- Serve as a transfer pricing subject matter expect to ensure timely and accurate compliance with mandatory transfer pricing documentation requirements for the related entities (e.g., Country by Country notifications, Local Files/Transfer Pricing Documentation), including staying abreast of relevant regulations in primary jurisdictions.
About the Team
The person will work in collaboration with the global transfer pricing team in the US to ensure that all global documentation is prepared contemporaneously and in compliance with local requirements.
