The Senior Tax Manager is responsible for overseeing tax compliance and risk management across multiple APAC jurisdictions, including Thailand, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, India, and Australia. The role ensures full compliance with local tax requirements, supports business operations through practical tax advice, and manages regional tax risks, audits, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Regional Tax Compliance
• Oversee corporate income tax, GST/VAT, withholding tax filings across all jurisdictions
• Ensure timely and accurate tax submissions and maintain regional compliance calendar
• Review tax computations, returns, and provisions
2. Transfer Pricing
• Work with transfer pricing manager and external TP advisor to ensure compliance with transfer pricing policies and documentation (Local File )
• Monitor intercompany transactions and cross-border arrangements and ensure supporting evidence are audit-ready
3. Tax Audits & Risk Management
• Manage tax audits and authority queries across jurisdictions
• Identify and mitigate tax risks, ensuring strong governance and controls
5. Regulatory Monitoring & Stakeholder Management
• Monitor changes in tax laws across APAC and assess impact
• Ensure timely implementation of regulatory changes
• Act as regional tax lead, coordinating with in-country teams and external advisors
• Drive process standardisation, automation, and efficiency improvements
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Accounting / Finance / Tax
• Professional qualification (CPA / ACCA / CA) preferred
• 8–12 years of tax experience with regional APAC exposure
• Experience in MNC environment and/or Big 4
Key Skills• Strong knowledge of APAC tax regimes (direct & indirect)
• Ability to manage multi-country compliance simultaneously
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills
• High attention to detail; ability to operate under tight timelines

Skills Required
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
- CPA, ACCA, or CA professional qualification
- 8–12 years of tax experience
- Regional APAC tax experience
- Experience in a multinational corporation and/or Big Four firm
